Pithoragarh opens its first dedicated Astro-Tourism observatory

The District Tourism Department of Pithoragarh, in collaboration with Starscapes Experiences Pvt. Ltd., has inaugurated the region’s first dedicated astro-tourism observatory. The initiative, inaugurated by Uttarakhand Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj, aims to promote science-led, sustainable tourism and create local employment through trained Astro Guides.
