Antara Cruises partners with West Bengal Transport Department to boost river tourism

Antara Cruises has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the West Bengal Transport Department at the Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS) 2025. The agreement includes an INR800 crore investment over five years to enhance river cruise services, shipbuilding infrastructure, and strengthen West Bengal’s position as a leader in river tourism. The collaboration aims to generate thousands of jobs and foster sustainable tourism practices.
